HEM Three-roll Continuous Rolling Mill
Since the appearance of the HEM, it has become more and more sophisticated and reliable after continuous improve- ment in operation procedure and structure. The three-roll continuous mill with retained mandrel is the newest product of our company and it is also the most advanced HEM in the world. We manufacture this machine with a lot of new process and technology such as the unique design of the roll groove, special reduction and balance modes and advanced automatic control and management system. All of them are in the forefront of the pipe rolling industry.
The successful invention of this machine contributes to the localization of the three-roll continuous mill and the hydrau- lic capsule and it also significantly reduces the purchase cost of the high-end equipments for domestic pipe manufacturers.
Technical Advantages:
1.Increase the wall thickness tolerance(the tolerance can be increased by 1% to 2%).
2.Even deformation. The pipe rolling process is much more smooth and stable. The mandrel stability in the groove is much higher.
3.Increase elongation and heighten the rolling capability of thin-wall pipe and high grade tube, which will reduce the stand quantity and decrease wear and elongate the tool life.
4.The flange area(the area where the pipe neither contacts roll nor mandrel)is much smaller, about 30% less than the double-roll mill, thanks to the groove design of the three-roll mill,which is also helpful in reducing tool wear and material loss.
5.With the same mandrel as in the double-roll mill, the groove geometry of the three-roll mill makes it possible to have a bigger adjustment range but imposes little impact on tolerance. With the same mandrel, it increases the thickness range which can be rolled and decreases the mandrel quantity(decreased by 50%) and the frequency of tool replacement.
6.Increase the precision of wall thickness and decrease the wall thickness difference between the end and the middle part of the shell.
7.The raw material flows with outstanding stability, which reduces the bad parts and accident. So the productivity and output will be increased. In addition, it is possible to economically produce product with small volume when designing dimension range and choosing steel grade.
System composition:
The automatic wall thickness control system commands the operation of the stretch reducing mill by jointly using the process calculation method and automatic process control. It is mainly composed of process control system, inspection system and operation control system.

Adjustable Three-roll Stand:
The adjustable three-roll stand is a new product developed by the company and it is used as the finish rolling stand of the sizing(reducing) mill.
Functions:
Adjust the roll gap within certain range according to the outer diameter variation of the steel pipe.
Compensate the gap according to the roll wear condition to ensure the precision of the outer diameter of the steel pipe.
Characteristics:
Decrease the quantity of the spare roll and stand to a large extent, reduce roll wear and improve the equipment utilization ratio and flexibility.
The shape and dimension of the adjustable stand are same as the common ones, so it will not cause additional equipment modification costs.
CNC Roll Groove Dressing Machine:
This machine is used to process the roll groove of the sizing(reducing)mill. This lathe can turn three rolls on one stand at one time by fixing three ceramic cutters on the tool with fixed diameter. The tool slowly rotates at the rolling center and the lathe providesfeed through the rela- tive rotation of the roll.
