Recently, the Mengfa Phase II ferroalloy project, managed by MCC BERIS as the general contractor and participation by Beijing Bestpower Intercontrol Co., Ltd.(abbr. BPI) , was fully commissioned. The project is invested and constructed by Inner Mongolia Mengfa Ferroalloy Co., Ltd., a leading company in the manganese-based ferroalloy sector. The new facilities include two 10,000 KVA metal manganese refining furnaces, one 42,000 KVA fully enclosed high-carbon manganese ferroalloy submerged-arc furnace, one 33,000 KVA semi-enclosed ferrosilicon furnace, and supporting rotary kilns, dust removal systems, batching facilities, etc. BPI was primarily responsible for the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and related work for the main process equipment, electrical control systems, and lighting systems for the raw material receiving and batching system.

In terms of automation design, the technical team of BPI adhered to the principles of high efficiency and integration, consolidating all network and automation systems in the project to lay a solid foundation for subsequent programming, HMI development, and interlock adjustments. Based on the site requirements of the client , they continuously optimized the programs to help operators get up to speed quickly, effectively shortening the commissioning adaptation period. For each critical piece of equipment, they organized training sessions for the  client's staff and kept detailed records, enhancing their future maintenance capabilities.

The project involves high construction difficulty and challenging tasks. The technical team of BPI  has consistently responded proactively to the needs of the client and general contractor management with a strong sense of responsibility, precisely analyzing requirements, meticulously refining solutions, and continuously improving through multiple rounds of technical optimization and process adjustments to fully meet the project's production standards. Faced with various unexpected issues on site, the project team of BPI rose to the challenge, repeatedly rushing to the site late into the night to inspect and rectify faults. Even under temperatures as low as minus thirty degrees Celsius, they remained undaunted, steadfastly working on the front lines. With efficient emergency response capabilities, they ensured construction progress while strictly adhering to construction standards and safety regulations, completing every task with high quality and reliability—earning consistent praise from both the client and the general contracting management unit.The owner subsequently signed an additional contract for the full-plant PLC system project. With both projects progressing in parallel, the complexity increased significantly. However, the BPI's team managed them in a well-organized manner and delivered successfully, fully demonstrating their strong technical expertise and project management capabilities.

After eight months of intensive efforts, the project's core equipment has been progressively put into operation, and the entire system is running smoothly. The project's general management contractor, MCC BERIS , sent a special letter of commendation, highly recognizing the comprehensive capabilities of BPI and expressing anticipation for future cooperation. Ulanqab City is a national hub for the ferroalloy industry with enormous market potential. BPI will take this opportunity to actively explore broader cooperation opportunities.
