Recently, the coke oven areas of Liuzhou Steel Group Coking Plant's first and second systems completed an intelligent upgrade, with eight intelligent patrol inspection robots implemented by Beijing Bestpower Intercontrol Co., Ltd.(abbr. BPI)  officially put into operation. The system integrates remote monitoring and AI recognition technologies, replacing manual inspection tasks for coke oven machinery, the coke side exhaust gas system, and basement areas, significantly enhancing safety and efficiency.

The coke oven inspection robots are equipped with multiple sensors, including infrared thermal imaging, gas detection, audio collection, and 360-degree cameras, which transmit real-time data such as images, temperature, and CO concentration to a central server. Leveraging intelligent algorithms and big data analysis, the system can accurately identify equipment abnormalities, issue timely alerts, and provide voice prompts to guide personnel in rapid troubleshooting, achieving intelligent and precise inspection.

The application of these patrol inspection robots effectively solves the pain points of traditional manual inspections. Previously, employees had to perform repetitive tasks in high-temperature and high-risk environments, posing significant safety hazards. Now, with robots taking over the primary inspection duties, not only is the workforce burden reduced and operational efficiency improved, but safety risks are also markedly diminished, advancing toward "reduced-personnel" or even "unmanned" operations in critical areas.

During the project implementation, the BPI's team overcame multiple challenges, including high temperatures, complex environments, and limited manpower. They scientifically planned the workflow, meticulously installed and debugged the equipment, and promptly solved potential issues to ensure the system's reliable deployment. The team's professionalism and collaborative spirit were highly commended by the client, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two parties.
