Recently, the intelligent transformation project of 's hot-rolled flat warehouse implemented by Beijing Bestpower Intercontrol Co., Ltd.(abbr. BPI) has successfully commissioned. This is not only an important milestone in the joint efforts of both parties to promote the intelligent upgrading of the aluminum processing industry, but also marks that BPI has successfully entered the Non-Ferrous Metal Industry.
As a leader in domestic intelligent warehouse management and unmanned crane technology, BPI has conducted in-depth analysis of customer needs, closely integrated its own technical advantages with the actual situation of the project, and formulated a scientific, reasonable, efficient and feasible transformation plan. With the unmanned crane and intelligent warehouse management system as the core, the plan innovatively integrates cutting-edge technologies such as wireless high-speed WiFi, optical closed-loop anti-sway control, trolley redundant positioning, clamp anti-roll damage design, AI algorithm recognition, three-axis coordinated control, obstacle avoidance path and coordination algorithm, and 3D digital twin, thus building a comprehensive intelligent operation system.
During the project implementation stage, facing the complex and changeable working conditions and the challenge of continuous high-temperature operations, BPI's technical team, relying on profound project experience and solid technical skills, not only ensured the stable operation of equipment throughout the process by accurately optimizing program logic and iteratively improving hardware performance, but also successfully solved core problems such as fast on-site production rhythm, lagging information tracking, and heavy outgoing operation load.
Since the project was successfully put into operation, remarkable results have been achieved. In terms of operation mode, it has not only realized unmanned operation of cranes in the hot-rolled flat warehouse, but also the unmanned crane system has complete functions, directly promoting a significant improvement in operation accuracy and safety. At the production efficiency level, by optimizing the warehouse layout and increasing storage positions, the site utilization rate has increased by 6.9%. In addition, the system's automatic material preparation shortens the production cycle, and the advantages of 24-hour unmanned operation and rapid material positioning have effectively improved production efficiency. In terms of safety and quality, the real-time online material level information has eliminated damage caused by manual lifting, improving the surface quality of products, while the system's anti-collision early warning and load monitoring functions have further consolidated the intrinsic safety defense line. In terms of cost control and improvement of working environment, the number of operators per shift has been reduced by 60%, which not only significantly reduces labor costs, but also greatly improves the working environment of workers.
The successful commissioning of this project has not only injected new power into the intelligent development of the Aluminum Southwest Aluminum Strip Co., Ltd., bringing considerable economic and social benefits, but also enabled BPI to set a new benchmark for intelligent transformation in the non-ferrous metal processing field.
